Taking inspiration from the paintings of the Glasgow Boys and their efforts to depict various facets of Scottish rural life in a more honest fashion, violinist Abigail Young and pianist Nick Lauener will present a programme of works by composers of the era who also strove to faithfully represent the music of their countries.
