Sat 16 Nov 2019
10am, 1pm and 4pm
+2 other sessions
Open to all levels, no qualification or experience is needed to come to these classes and they can be enjoyed by absolute beginners curious about the process of drawing to practicing artists who are seeking the camaraderie of a group dynamic. These sessions offer an inspiring space and a break from the everyday where you can relax, create and meet new people. The class is led by established artist, Graham Flack and will involve working in charcoal and from a model, building up from short to longer poses. Group sizes are kept small, so each participant benefits from one-on-one attention. There are three separate sessions per day and all materials will be supplied.
We are currently working on improving our galleries. During this time some rooms will be closed and some facilities will be temporarily removed. There will be limited disabled access to some areas.
The Scottish National Gallery can be found just off Princes Street in the city centre.
In addition to the transport options below there are bike racks at each site and Just Eat Cycle Hire stations nearby.
Friends of the Galleries get free unlimited entry to all exhibitions, and enjoy a wide range of exclusive benefits including early exhibition access, special events and 10% discount in our cafes.
