About

Join us for this exclusive private view and short introductory talk to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci. This remarkable exhibition brings together 80 of the Renaissance master's greatest drawings in the Royal Collection, forming the largest group of Leonardo's works ever shown in Scotland. The collection was acquired during the reign of Charles II and shows how through the medium of drawing Leonardo worked out his ideas on painting, sculpture, architecture, anatomy, engineering, cartography, geology and botany.
