We are delighted that this year’s Summer Party will be held at the Scottish National Gallery, centred around the exhibition Bridget Riley. The evening will begin with a drinks reception followed by a main course supper in the Scottish Café & Restaurant. After supper, Lucy Askew, Curator at the Scottish National Gallery, will give a short introduction to the exhibition and draw our summer raffle. Friends will then be invited to view the exhibition and to enjoy some live music from jazz trio Maxwell Lightbody Smith. It is essential to advise us in advance of any dietary intolerances.
We would also like to remind Friends that all blue badge parking has been suspended on the Mound Precinct. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this and please be assured that we aim to re-instate the bays as soon as possible.
We are currently working on improving our galleries. During this time some rooms will be closed and some facilities will be temporarily removed. There will be limited disabled access to some areas.
