About

Join artist Tessa Asquith-Lamb for the next edition of the Drawing Room Kitchen Table. In the session Tessa will show you how to make a movable cardboard figure using collage and foils inspired by Natalya Goncharova’s 1915 collage: Costume Design for One of the Three Kings in 'La Liturgie’ in the National Galleries of Scotland collection.

You will need:

  • thin card
  • watercolour paints
  • coloured pencils or pens
  • shiny foil scraps
  • glue
  • scissors
  • paper-fasteners (if you want to make a movable figure).

This session is for adults and is suitable for ages 12+

A Zoom link and brief will be sent to participants before the session.

The Drawing Room examines the range of possibilities within contemporary drawing practice. This session will explore some favourite experimental drawing exercises and techniques, aimed at boosting drawing confidence, kicking off with a relaxing warm-up drawing meditation to help you focus.
