Creative Exchange: Art of the future world

Aimed at creative educators of all subjects, in nursery, primary and secondary school settings, with an interest in creativity across the curriculum, interdisciplinary learning or health & wellbeing. This hands-on CPD invites you to create your own ‘Art of the Future World’ using our contemporary art toolkit.

Young people from across Scotland have been responding to the question what is the ‘art of the future?’ in a national conversation about their futures, to coincide with the Year of Young People.  Find out how young people have used the toolkit to identify and articulate their views on contemporary issues of their choice, such as feminism, religion and mental health.

This session will be repeated on Saturday 24 March 2018 at 10.30am-12.30pm.

By the end of the session you will have worked in groups to create your own Art of the Future World using a contemporary art toolkit created by young people. There will also be time for you to consider how you might apply this approach in your own school setting.

Delivered in partnership with Arts & Creative Learning, City of Edinburgh Council.
