We welcome back the BP Portrait Award to the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. The Award is the most prestigious portrait painting competition in the world and represents the very best in contemporary portrait painting. Over the years more than 40,000 entries from at least 100 countries have been received. Friends will have the opportunity to view the exhibition and hear about the works and artists with tours led by Christopher Baker, Director of European and Scottish Art and Portraiture, and a former judge of the competition.
- Group One (6.30pm): Tour of the exhibition 6.30-7.15pm, followed by a glass of wine
- Group Two (7pm): Glass of wine on arrival, tour of the exhibition at 7.15pm
