About

Our series of ‘Books in Focus’ sessions focuses on artists’ books and archive material held in the special collections of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. This session will look at the four editions of the Evergreen: A Northern Seasonal, an illustrated journal published by Patrick Geddes & Colleagues in 1895-96. Edited by Celtic revivalists William Sharp (alias Fiona Macleod) and the artist John Duncan, the journal reflects the influence of French symbolism, Celtic art and more esoteric sources.

Limited places.
