Join us for an up-close look at rare material from our archive, rare books and print collections. In each session a theme or artist is explored with one of our curatorial team, taking an intimate look at some of jewels from our collection. This session will focus on the career and life of the photographer Lee Miller (subject of the forthcoming film starring Kate Winslet).
The National Galleries of Scotland offers a variety of opportunities for members of the public to access our resources and view artworks that are not on display in our gallery spaces. These include two libraries, print rooms, an archive and special book store. Visits can be arranged via appointment.
Become a Friend to enjoy unique access to the nation’s art collection with unlimited free entry to exhibitions, a 10% discount in our gallery shops & cafés and a bespoke programme of events.
