Art Zoom session for parents and carers of babies born in the last 12 months.

This is not a session for your baby, it’s time and space for you.

Each session is led by a different artist but follows the same welcoming and supportive format. You will have a playful time, making immediate 'no pressure' artworks and enjoying some time and space to chat, if you like.

This month we will be led by Lynsey Mackenzie. We will be exploring mark-making using collage as a drawing tool. We will start with some quick warm up drawing exercises and then move into a longer session with a mixture of drawing and collage.

Try and find a variety of papers for collage material if you can (a great time to scavenge in your paper recycling bin). Collage is a resourceful activity and we’ll be working with whatever we have!

Materials:
- Paper
- Pencil
- Any other drawing materials you have to hand eg. Pens, coloured pencils, pastels, crayons etc.
- Collage materials: scraps of paper, envelopes, newspapers, coloured paper, cardboard, cereal boxes etc.
- Glue stick
