Adam Family Architecture City Walking Tour: Part One

  • Sunday 5 May, 2-4pm
£ 12.00
About

New Town and West End: Starting and finishing at the Portrait Gallery, writer David Black will lead a walk from Charlotte Square to David Hume’s tomb.

Please come dressed for the weather, and be ready and able to walk at a reasonable pace. Tours cover less than two miles of walking and are generally appropriate for all ages and fitness levels, but please use your best judgment. The tours will go on rain or shine. However, in cases of severely inclement weather on the day of the tour, the tour will remain in the gallery.

We recommend booking to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited to 15 places. You can book online or at the Scottish National Gallery Information Desk.

James Tassie John Adam of Maryburgh, 1721 - 1792. Architect Dated 1791
