Beautiful colour illustrated wooden postcard with Foxgloves by Mabel Royds from the National Galleries of Scotland Collection.
British artist Mabel Royds is best known for her colourful woodcuts of flowers. Her technique was indebted to Japanese woodcuts. Foxgloves are a tall mixed European and Asian plant with erect spikes of pinkish-purple (or white) flowers shaped like the fingers of gloves.
Printed in the UK by the Wooden Postcard Company who only use FSC certified wood for their products which is durable and comes with a printed postcard back.
