This photograph taken in the 1930s shows the Scottish team Rutherglen’s  goalkeeper dashing out to clear her lines during an attack on her charge, in the charity football match at the Gymnasium, Edinburgh, this evening (Saturday), between Edinburgh Girls' F.C. and Rutherglan Women's F.C. (Glasgow).
