This White Port is a field blend of Malvasia fina, Viosinho, Gouveio and Donzelinho grapes. The wine is first fermented on its skins for a week before fortification with 1 part grape spirit to 3 parts wine. It is then matured for an average of 3 years in 10,000 litre old oak barrels, sold by Port of Leith distillery.

The Port of Leith distillery will be using casks seasoned with port wine from Martha’s to mature its whisky, but while the whisky ages, you can taste the sherry used for this yourself. Established 1727, Martha’s family has specialised in producing the finest, complex ports from the Douro Valley for generations.
