100% pure new wool scarf with a Fair Isle inspired pattern in navy blue, sky blue, green and a hint of yellow, made in Scotland by Green Grove Weavers.

Fair Isle is a traditional knitting technique used to create patterns with multiple colours. It is named after Fair Isle, one of the Shetland Islands. Traditional Fair Isle patterns have a limited palette of five or so colours, use only two colours per row, are worked in the round, and limit the length of a run of any particular colour.

Green Grove Weavers are two designers with a passion for creating original contemporary design based on the rich traditions of Scottish craftsmanship. The design studio and headquarters are located in Strathspey in the Scottish Highlands, where they take inspiration from the wonderful landscape of the hills and glens. They produce beautiful, timeless accessories in the United Kingdom on traditional looms using natural fibres, the finest lamb’s wool melanges, luxurious mohair, and a range of British wools.
