Talks & lectures | Introducing James’s People

In this illustrated talk, Kate Anderson explores a selection of artworks which are part of the display James's People.

The display focusses on the people who lived and worked in Scotland under the reign of King James VI and his Queen Consort Anna of Denmark. From a jester to a jeweller, a calligrapher to a courtier, and a poet to a university principal, the talk will shed light on the lesser-known stories of these individuals.

This talk was originally broadcast live and is followed by responses to audience questions.
