Oil on linen
Spring is a wonderful time to paint. It’s uplifting to observe nature put on a wonderful show. The new greens are so zingy and the blossom on hawthorn bushes is fluffy, weighing down the branches like snow. I paint in oils entirely with a palette knife. I don’t dilute my paints as I prefer the colours to be pure. I love nature and colours created by different light and shadow.
