Analogue Photograph

Wandering around and engaging with the urban environment, I am drawn to the everyday mundane: street furniture, signage, decay and the obsolete. Influenced by the theory and practice of Psychogeography and New Topographics photography, my work captures fleeting moments or interactions that otherwise go unnoticed. I enjoy the process of film photography, being selective with the shots I take, sending it off to be developed and anticipating the results. I like the grainy quality that it can produce and often slight colour imbalance, the imperfection makes it all the more interesting.
