My painting explores ideas of identity through personal experience as well as historical and contemporary narratives. Through my work, I explore these themes by looking at the outlines, margins and frames projected onto the individual's identity as well as how these relate to my own personal experience of growing up as the second generation of an immigrant family in Scotland.
