Story
Early in lockdown I was feeling overwhelmed and isolated. On my daily walk I spotted the first bee of Spring collecting pollen from a flowering gorse bush. I instantly felt joy and happiness at the proximity of another living creature. I also thought about how we pollute its world and how every year insects fight to survive the onslaught of poisonous chemicals wrought upon it by humans. We are experiencing a foreign body threatening our existence but our wildlife experiences that every year and it is in our power to stop that.

Vision
My hope for the future is that we can all live kinder, gentler and more compassionate lives where we recognise that we are a small part of the bigger picture and that our every action has consequences for both our personal wellbeing and that of the planet.
