Musselburgh

Story
Lockdown made me particularly value where I live, just off the Promenade in Fisherrow, Musselburgh. I felt very lucky to be able to walk daily by the sea, taking in a view that encompasses Edinburgh and Arthur’s Seat to the west, Fife across the Forth and North Berwick Law to the east. I enjoyed studying sunrises and sunsets, cloud formations, the way the view changed at different times of day and year, in different weather conditions.

Vision
All right, so I’m lucky with where I live. But the ecological improvements that resulted globally from lockdown gave us the hope for a world post Covid where we do the right things by the environment. Let’s trust it’s not a vain hope.
