Story
In January 2020 we received an autism and ADHD diagnosis for our seven-year-old. He’s brilliant and all the things a mother would say about her son, but he’s magical too, he’s our teacher. Then there's incredible kindness patience and wisdom of my three-year-old, who instinctively knows how to balance his older brothers needs often with an offer to kiss it better.

I’d never photographed my family before, always preferring strangers I pass on the street, but lockdown reset everything. I was given this unique chance to see my boys thrive on their own terms, in their own way. Sharing incredibly personal and vulnerable moments has been cathartic and I hope these pictures show my sons in the new extraordinary light I see them in.
