The newest display in Pig Rock Bothy (located in the grounds of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Modern One) brings together an exciting mix of works. Take a look at a new display of material from recent Bothy Project residencies (at Sweeney’s Bothy on the Island of Eigg and Inshriach Bothy in the Cairngorms National Park).

Drinking the Rain includes material by artists, curators, writers, musicians and designers who have recently undertaken Bothy Project residencies. Work shown by Victoria Beesley, Alice Dunseath, Ashanti Harris, Lydia Honeybone and This Way (Emily Macaulay and Felicity Rowley) reflects the influence time at the bothies had on their diverse practices. The display is accompanied by music created at Sweeney’s Bothy, through a collaboration between Bothy Project and Lost Map Records, Eigg. A new publication titled Take Yourself Out of Your Usual Structure presents writing inspired by Inshriach Bothy, with contributions by Siân Robinson Davies, James N. Hutchinson, Anna McLauchlan and Sarah Rose.

Artists participating in display: Alice Dunseath, Ashanti Harris, Lydia Honeybone and This Way (Emily Macaulay and Felicity Rowley).
