Biography

Katharine Cameron was the sister of the artist Sir David Young Cameron, and like her brother, she also attended classes at Glasgow School of Art and later at Académie Colarossi's in Paris. She made frequent study trips to Italy, and is best known for her sensitive flower and landscape paintings, etchings and book illustrations. Katharine was a member of the Royal Scottish Watercolour Society.
