Biography

Elsie Mitchell is a Scottish artist based in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Mitchell studied Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art and received a postgraduate degree from Slade School of Fine Art in London. Working across a range of media including photography and film, Mitchell often looks to the natural world for inspiration. Her work has been exhibited at Tramway, Glasgow, and in London at the Institute for Contemporary Art and Crafts Council Gallery.
