About this artwork
This young guy likes bikes and proudly displays himself at ease in front of a vintage Hells Angels poster in his bedroom. Both mainstream and alternative youth cultural identities existed side by side in mining areas. Many young people cast adrift after the mine closures of the 1980s found a refuge in rave culture.
