About this artwork

In the 1970s Gershuni's interests were more noticeably conceptual in terms of minimal detail, use of found materials or substances (newspaper and margarine, for example). The 1980s brought with it more colour, evident here with the blood-like red that is smeared across the photograph of the composer Jascia Horonstein.
