About this artwork

The poet and short story writer David Morrison has lived and worked as a librarian in Caithness since 1965. His most important published works are 'The White Hind, & Other Poems' (1968), 'The Constant Tide' (1986) and 'Up Wyster' (1989). Morrison edits the literary publication, 'Scotia Review'. Besides writing poetry, Morrison also paints and makes sculpture, when words cannot contain ‘the abstraction of thought’.
