This medal commemorates the Duke of Cumberland’s victory over the Jacobites at Culloden. The obverse shows the duke mounted on a horse, his sword held aloft. The reverse shows him galloping across a battlefield. The legend on the medal reads ‘REBELION JUSTLY REWARDED’.
