Gilad is from Israel but has family in London. He was photographed there during the 2015 Red Head Day UK celebrations. ‘It's not uncommon in Europe, it's not noticeable. King David was a red head as far as I know. I think there is a relatively high amount of red heads among the Jewish populations from Europe. Half the population of Israel are European immigrants, so whatever traits you have in Europe you have in Israel’.
