About this artwork

This is one of four heads in the Tribute series. Frink said of them: ‘My recent heads, the monumental ones, are to do with Amnesty and human rights because they are memorials to people who are suffering for their beliefs.’ Elsewhere she stated that they represented victims of state persecution and torture. Tribute II was cast in an edition of six bronzes.
