Looking for creative, interdisciplinary ideas to enhance your curriculum delivery this year?

We welcome teachers and school groups of all ages to take part in a new programme of professional learning, exhibitions, group tours and workshops.  

Highlights this term:

Creative Maths Inspired by M.C. Esher to challenge you to find new ways to engage pupils in numeracy (suitable for primary, secondary, maths & art teachers) Friday 4 September 13.30-16.30 at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art Two.

Creative Approaches to Art for Beginners for primary teachers who want to boost their confidence in delivering art sessions. Friday 2 October 13.30-16.00 at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art Two.

Poetry Workshops exploring the Document Scotland contemporary photographic exhibition (suitable for S5-6 pupils studying English, Scottish Studies or Art & Design) 10, 11 & 12 November at the Scottish National portrait Gallery. Please enquire for details education@nationalgalleries.org

Calum Colvin: Jacobites By Name tour of new Jacobite exhibitions ,for teachers, led by artist Calum Colvin and curators. Friday 27 November 14.00-15.00 at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. Please book education@nationalgalleries.org
