Past Programmes for People who are Visually Impaired
Since 2001, the National Galleries of Scotland has offered regular education events for people who are visually impaired.
Thanks to the support of the Miss Agnes H. Hunter’s Trust, the scale of this programme was increased during 2005-6 to offer descriptive tours conducted in small groups, followed by relevant hands-on workshops. The additional trust-fund support also allowed us to run a high-quality programme, well-resourced in terms of artists and materials, at least once a month.
We are delighted that, with the help of the Trust, we will be able to continue to offer a regular programme for people who are visually impaired from the autumn of 2006 to March 2008.
