This linear drawing can be seen as anticipating one of Warhol’s most famous designs for an album cover – 'Sticky Fingers' by The Rolling Stones. Warhol was both a big fan and friends with the British rock band and went on to create a series of prints for a portfolio of portraits of lead singer Mick Jagger. This drawing, like the album cover, is overtly suggestive. The fly of the model’s jeans appears to be open with his hand casually resting in his pocket.
