Join artists from our regular Gallery Social programme as they invite you into their homes to relax, enjoy a cuppa and explore some art together.
In the first video the artists will talk about an artwork they enjoy. In the second video, they will take you through a straightforward creative activity that you might like to try out.
These videos have been created for anyone affected by dementia and their families, supporters and carers, but are open to all to enjoy!

In the second video Tessa makes paper animals remembering her favourite farm toy set.
If you would like to try this yourself, you will need:
- Thin paper or card
- Scissors
- Glue/double-sided tape
- Paint
- Pen or pencil
- Paper straws
Handy hint: To make a hole through your paper animal more easily try pushing a pencil into the paper and onto a piece of blue tack.
In the second video Duncan makes a collage using items from his recycling box.

- Thin polystyrene foam (e.g. from bottom of a pizza box) or craft foam or card
- Double-sided tape
- Glue

- Plastic lids (e.g. from coffee jar)
- Rolling pin or a mug
- Leaf
- Biro pen
