Audio Described Tour | Conversations with the Collection

Enjoy a selection of audio descriptions of artworks at the Modern. Taking over the top level of Modern One, this display, entitled Conversations with the Collection is a celebration of Scottish and international modern and contemporary art.

Highlighting many works that have rarely (if ever) been shown before, the display will include intriguing juxtapositions between artworks from different time periods and geographical locations, unearthing evocative stories and unexpected connections between artists.

This guide, which has been developed specifically for blind and partially sighted people, features detailed descriptions of eight artworks

Each description is between 2 and 4 minutes long. Gallery staff are available to help you locate any of the paintings.

The audio guide is about 25 minutes long and can also be accessed via Soundcloud and Smartify.
