Hanna Tuulikki is a visual artist, composer and performer based in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated from Glasgow School of Art’s Environmental Art programme in 2006. Tuulikki’s research-led, multi-disciplinary practice often explores mythological, historical or traditional forms to engage with contemporary issues through imitation, vocalization and gesture. Her work has achieved international recognition and has been commissioned and presented by visual, musical and performing arts organisations around the world, including Edinburgh Printmakers (2019), Scottish Sculpture Workshop (2019), Galleri Format, Malmö (2018), Woodstreet Galleries, Pittsburgh (2018), Alchemy Film & Arts (2018), CCA Glasgow (2017), RMIT Melbourne (2017), BALTIC, Gateshead (2017), Dovecot, Edinburgh (2017), BBC Radio 4 (2017), Cooper Gallery, DJCAD, Dundee (2017), Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2016),  Edinburgh Art Festival (2015), ATLAS Arts (2015), Travelling Gallery for GENERATION (2014, Tectonics Festival (2013), Tramway, Glasgow (2013), and Glasgow International (2012). She was Magnetic North Theatre's artist attachment recipient 2017-2019 and shortlisted for the Max Mara Art Prize for Women 2019.
