About this artwork
Wright explores simple geometry in this delicate screenprint on paper. A series of triangular shapes constructed from colourful lines are arranged on a flat, pink background, with the angled lines suggesting only a hint of perspective and space. This print is the fifth in a series of five produced for the ‘BQ Poster Edition’ portfolio. Each print was named ‘Untitled Figure’ and numbered from one to five. The prints were initially intended to be pasted onto either internal or external walls as a series of posters. Throughout the portfolio Wright has combined simple geometric and organic forms against flat backgrounds.
