About this artwork
In 1938, Paul Eluard published Solidarité, a poetry collection printed by Atelier 17, in Paris. Eluard often collaborated with Surrealist artists and this book includes drawings and original artworks by artists of the calibre of Picasso, Miro and Dalla Husband. Tanguy contributed to the volume too and chose to do so with this simple line etching.
