Wealth is Shared - No One Charges, No One Pays
About this artwork
This is the central image of a triptych. The painting can be read as a storyboard, starting at the top left. It shows the stick figures of a man and woman who become friends and have sex. They return to work and the man wants to have sex again, but the woman doesn't. The man goes to bed alone and dreams of how a snake poisons relationships between men and women, leading him to understand that men can neither own nor control women. He wakes up and makes friends with the woman.
