Stewart took this photograph of Sir Peter during the 1994 St Magnus Festival while he was conducting rehearsals in the St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall. Sir Peter has been closely involved with the annual Festival since he settled on Hoy. Between 1977 and 1986 he was Director of the Festival.
