About this artwork

This etching is a record of a fantastic dream experienced by Strang. It was originally accompanied by a written description, although this was never published. According to Strang’s son David, each of his father’s prints, including those where no clear or obvious message was apparent, had a meaning – even if only known to Strang himself.
