Craig Waddell
River Song
About this artwork
We can use our outward appearance to express our identity – as much or as little as we want. How we choose to dress can be influenced by how comfortable we feel in expressing ourselves to the people around us. As part of Craig Waddell’s series Masc he draws attention to and celebrates rich textiles. His photographs reference historic painted portraits but update the portraiture tradition for a modern audience.
