Bosco Sodi
Muro
About this artwork
Sodi made these bricks in his studio in Mexico. They are taken from a group of 1,600 bricks used to build a 2 x 8-metre wall on London’s Southbank on 7 July 2018. Muro (Wall) was first performed in New York City, on 7 September 2017, in response to President Trump’s inauguration, and repeated in London days before Trump’s visit in 2018. The wall stood for one day. Passers-by were then invited to take a brick home with them.
