About this artwork
This print comes from a series of screenprints which the artist made inspired by the view from her studio window in St Ives. The title alludes to the play of light on the water at Porthmeor beach. The artist made this series of prints with Carol Robertson and Robertson’s partner Robert Adam at their print studio Graal Press in Midlothian. Barns-Graham worked with them from 1998 until the end of her life and it was her longest and most prolific collaboration with a print studio.
