About this artwork
This print is from the artist’s ‘Time Series’. In each print, Barns-Graham used a large circle and different numbers of vertical bars in different arrangements and colour combinations. Here she incorporates a spiral to create the sense of movement. Barns-Graham worked on this series in 1999, but this work was editioned posthumously in 2006. Another example included in this display from the ‘Time Series’ is ‘Runabout Time’.
