The Friends of the National Galleries of Scotland are delighted to present a fundraising lecture in support of the Titian Fund. Michael Clarke, Director of the National Gallery of Scotland, will give a lecture on the Bridgewater Loan and the Titian paintings.
The Bridgewater Loan consists of 27 works including paintings by Titian, Rembrandt, Poussin and Raphael. The National Galleries of Scotland has formed a partnership with the National Gallery in London in an effort to acquire these paintings for the nation.
