The National Galleries of Scotland, in partnership with Highland 2007 and The Highland Council, presents this exhibition of some of the most spectacular works from its collection on the theme of motherhood. This intriguing historical survey includes paintings, prints and sculpture by some of the world's most famous artists, showing how the images of the mother and child has endured and been re-interpreted over 500 years.
