We welcome group visits to the National Galleries of Scotland. If you are a large party wishing to visit our national collection there is no need to pre-book as our venues are free of charge.

However, if you are a group of more than ten people wanting to visit a special exhibition with an admission charge, please phone 0870 118 1859 (national rate), as we can offer group discount rates.

Formal Education Groups
If you are visiting with your school, college or university group, please phone the Education Department on 0131 624 6410 to book, giving at least 2 weeks notice.

Travel Trade
If you are a member of the travel trade organising a group visit to the National Galleries of Scotland, please contact our Marketing Department. We will be delighted to offer inspiring additions to your itinerary, such as gallery tours, queue-jump benefits for major exhibitions and meal stops.

Blue Badge Guides
Accredited Blue Badge Guides can guide within the gallery, free of charge. Blue Badge Guides are also admitted free of charge to special exhibitions on presentation of their credentials.
