The National Galleries of Scotland offer inspiring conference facilities available for both daytime and evening hire.
The Hawthornden Lecture Theatre
Ideally located in the very centre of Edinburgh, the lecture theatre at the Weston Link provides tiered seating for 200 and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art AV equipment and technical support staff. It can be hired for high-profile daytime and evening events, conferences and screenings with registration and pre- or post-event refreshments taking place in the adjacent multimedia IT Gallery. Tickets to exhibitions or private views can also be included in the conference package, as well as special catering provided by the Galleries’ dedicated caterers.
The Gymnasium – Belford Road
Situated in the beautiful leafy grounds of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, the Gymnasium (so called because the gallery was formerly a school) provides a perfect location for meetings, small conferences, training workshops or presentations. This adaptable venue, set in a tranquil yet central location, has ample car parking for guests and can accommodate up to 100 delegates. With full technical support, the venue is equipped with slide/video projector, DVD/video player, lectern and PA system.
